Terms of use

Plain-English summary: Use Game Night for fun. Don't use it to harass people, infringe copyrights or do anything illegal. We provide the app "as-is" — if it crashes mid-Ludo, we'll fix it but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Free now, free later; if we ever add paid tiers they'll add new things, not take things away.

1. Who's behind Game Night

Game Night is published by AsadTechLead (sole proprietor: Asad Mahmood, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan). These terms apply between you (the user) and AsadTechLead.

2. The licence we grant you

By installing the app from Google Play, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Game Night on any Android device you control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, free of charge.

3. What you must not do

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app beyond what Android allows for personal use.
  • Use the app to harass, threaten, or send hateful content to other players via the multiplayer chat.
  • Use the app to violate any law (incl. gambling laws in jurisdictions where dice / coin games might count).
  • Misrepresent your age to bypass the 13+ chat gate. If you're under 13, the chat feature is off-limits — every other game in the hub remains fully available.
  • Use any automated means (bots, scripts) to interact with multiplayer rooms in ways that disrupt other players.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute the Truth or Dare prompt packs for commercial reuse.

4. Your content (multiplayer chat)

If you send a message, photo or voice note in multiplayer chat, you retain ownership of that content. You grant Game Night a strictly limited, transient licence to relay it to the other players in your room. We do not durably store it on our servers. By posting, you confirm the content does not violate any law or third-party right.

5. No warranty

The app is provided "as-is" and "as-available". We do not warrant uninterrupted availability of the online multiplayer mode (which depends on third-party Supabase Realtime infrastructure). We work to fix bugs quickly but make no guarantees about specific defect rates.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AsadTechLead is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of Game Night. Direct damages, in any case, are capped at the amount you have paid us for the app — which, given the app is free, is zero.

7. Pricing changes

Game Night is currently free. If we introduce paid features in future versions, they will be new additions (e.g., premium dice cosmetics, custom themes). We will never paywall a feature that previously shipped in the free version.

8. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling. We can suspend access for any user who repeatedly violates Section 3 (most realistic case: a chat-harassment pattern reported by other players in an online room).

9. Disputes / governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore. For users in the EU/UK/US, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights granted by your local law — these terms do not override those.

These terms are written in plain English on purpose. If a clause looks like a corporate template — that's because some of the legal phrases have to be precise to be enforceable. The rest is direct.
